The Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has appointed the Emir of Kauru, Alhaji Ya’u Shehu Usman, to lead the state’s official delegation for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
As Amirul Hajj, Alhaji Usman will oversee all aspects of the pilgrimage, ensuring smooth coordination between Kaduna State’s Special Hajj Committee and relevant authorities at state, federal, and international levels. His role will be pivotal in facilitating a seamless experience for intending pilgrims from the state.
Governor Sani’s decision to entrust this responsibility to the Emir is based on his longstanding record of leadership, dedication to public service, and ability to manage complex logistical operations effectively.
While announcing the appointment, the governor congratulated the traditional ruler and encouraged him to bring his wealth of experience to the task.
He also extended his prayers for divine guidance and protection as the Amirul Hajj takes on this significant assignment.
