The inauguration of the 20,000-seater International Worship Centre marks a significant milestone in the history of Christ's Chosen Church of God International. The ceremony, attended by dignitaries including representatives of the Oba of Benin, Esama of Benin, and the Ovie of Oghara Kingdom, heralds a new chapter for the church.
Most Senior Apostle David Unuefe, the chief celebrant, expressed profound gratitude to God for the successful completion of the ultramodern auditorium. "I dedicate this all to the glory of God," he said.
The event featured the launch of a book titled "The Will of Progress" written by Most Senior Apostle Unuefe. In an interview, his wife, Senior Reverend Matilda Unuefe, expressed her gratitude to God, saying, "We are all happy and we pray that God will bless our father and strengthen him in his time."
The ceremony showcased various entertainment groups and was attended by notable figures, including the Managing Director of ITV and Radio, and staff members of the station.
As Senior Reverend Unuefe noted, "The wisdom which can only come from God has been imputed into this edifice." The church's spiritual leader has been instrumental in the successful completion of the project, and the congregation is celebrating God's wisdom and guidance.
