Mr Bode Agusto, the founder of Nigeria's first indigenous credit rating agency, Agusto & Co, has died.
Agusto, a well-known Nigerian economist, died at the age of 68.
Bode Agusto worked as an independent consultant in the fields of economics, finance, and business strategy prior to his death.
Agusto & Co., formed in 1992, is a well-known Pan-African Credit Rating Agency as well as a key provider of industry research and knowledge in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Bode Agusto was the company's first Managing Director. He was a Chartered Accountant with more than three decades of experience in both the public and private sectors.
