Happie Boys Apologize to Apostle Chinyere but Decline Nigeria Scholarship
Apostle Ugochinyere of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) received a public apology from the Happie Boys, former security men who had been awarded scholarships to study in Cyprus by the clergyman. The apology came after Apostle Chinyere criticized the boys for calling him out on social media.

The Happie Boys had lost their jobs as security men at a fast food joint in Lagos and were subsequently dismissed after a video of them dancing while on duty went viral. They reached out for help online, and their plea caught the attention of Apostle Chinyere, who offered them scholarships to study in Turkey.

However, last week, the boys shared a video in which the clergyman was seen cursing them. They accused him of abandoning them in Cyprus after providing funds for the first six months of their stay in Turkey.

In response, Apostle Chinyere explained on his Facebook page that the challenging economic situation made it impossible for him to continue financing the boys' scholarships. He advised them to return to Nigeria or proceed to Benin Republic for their education. The clergyman expressed forgiveness towards the boys and expressed his willingness to continue supporting their education if they choose to study in a Nigerian university or Benin Republic.

In a new video posted by the Happie Boys, they apologized to Apostle Chinyere for their previous accusations but made it clear that they would not be returning to Nigeria. They stated that they no longer needed a scholarship in Nigeria and had no plans to come back.

The apology from the Happie Boys signifies a reconciliation between them and Apostle Chinyere, although their decision to decline the Nigeria scholarship offer indicates their resolve to pursue other educational opportunities outside the country.
