Kaduna Governor Engages Traditional Institutions for Security Solutions
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has emphasised his administration's unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the people through the active involvement of traditional institutions in policy-making and implementation.

During a courtesy visit by a delegation from the state traditional council, led by Chairman Ahmad Bamalli, the Emir of Zazzau, Governor Sani highlighted the need for effective intelligence-gathering mechanisms to combat criminal activities.

He acknowledged the critical role of traditional institutions in developing a framework for intelligence gathering and collaboration with security agencies at the grassroots level.

Governor Sani expressed the government's determination to engage traditional institutions in policy-making and implementation, as part of their seven-point agenda focused on nurturing citizens' engagement.

The governor stressed the importance of including the people in the decision-making process and encouraged their active participation in sectors such as education, health, and commerce.

Recognising the ability of traditional institutions to engage and mobilise communities, Governor Sani emphasised their significance in driving comprehensive development.

Furthermore, Governor Sani pledged to prioritise the development of rural areas to accelerate progress. He sought the support and prayers of the traditional council for the success of his administration's endeavours.

Earlier, Chairman Ahmad Bamalli conveyed congratulations to Governor Sani on his inauguration and reiterated their support for the government. He acknowledged the challenging economic climate and expressed their commitment as strategic partners to contribute towards the government's success.

Governor Uba Sani's commitment to engaging traditional institutions in policy-making and implementation reflects the recognition of their valuable contributions to community development and security.

By leveraging their expertise and grassroots connections, the government aims to strengthen intelligence-gathering efforts and create an inclusive decision-making process.

With a focus on citizen engagement and development in key sectors, the administration aims to enhance the overall well-being of the people of Kaduna State. The support and partnership of the traditional council will be instrumental in achieving these goals and driving progress in the region.
