Bayo Onanuga mocks suspended CBN Governor Emefiele

In a sharp and derisive response, Bayo Onanuga, the spokesperson for the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council, openly ridiculed Godwin Emefiele following his suspension as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The suspension of Emefiele was announced on Friday evening, triggering a wave of reactions. In the wake of the decision, Mr. Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi was swiftly appointed as the acting Governor of the CBN.

Taking to his official Twitter account, Onanuga expressed his contempt, labeling the development as a "Good riddance to the worst CBN Governor in History."

Emefiele had assumed the prestigious role of Governor of the apex bank on June 4, 2014.
