The AGN's National President, Emeka Rollas, MON, released a statement stating that the body had been monitoring Jerry's involvement in illicit substances since December and that the situation had escalated to a point where his association with other performers on set posed a risk to their lives.
Rollas emphasised that the suspension was necessary to ensure the safety of fellow actors, stating, "He cannot be allowed to associate with other performers on set due to danger... Jerry is a risk not only to himself but also to other actors who might be acting alongside him on set."
The statement further revealed that the AGN had previously allowed Jerry to undergo minor treatments for his drug abuse, but he had been non-compliant. The suspension will remain in effect until Jerry obtains a clean bill of health from a medical practitioner or a professional specialising in drug abuse.
Jerry Williams gained prominence in the entertainment industry after his notable performance in the epic movie "The Chosen King." However, the recent allegations of drug abuse have led to his suspension from acting activities, highlighting the AGN's commitment to upholding professional standards and ensuring the well-being of its members.
