He also urged the staff to perform their different roles efficiently and utilise the knowledge gained from the workshop to improve their work and understanding of the rudiments of the scheme. Yakubu-Yaro further encouraged all corps staff to acquire more knowledge to help enhance productivity.
During the workshop, Mr Usman Muhammad, Assistant Director, Deployment and Relocation, gave a presentation in which he enjoined the staff to put more effort into ensuring Corps members' welfare. Muhammad also advised the team to review official documents such as the NYSC Bye-law, NYSC Act, and official publications and resolutions to ensure practical dealings with corps members.
He cautioned the staff members to cherish their integrity and avoid unethical practices that could tarnish their image and that of the scheme. Other presentations were made by Mr Akpala Daniel, Dr S. A. Okparaocha, Mr Nwaoke Emmanuel, Hajia Rakiya Iliya, and Mr Joshua Mutuah. The workshop aimed to enhance NYSC staff's productivity in Sokoto State.
