According to the AEDC, customers residing along Apo/Gudu should expect power interruptions that will affect Prince & Princess Estate, parts of Kaura District, Dubai Market, Behind Games Village, and part of Durumi 2, Adisa Estate. Other affected areas include the Sharia Court of Appeal, Federal Boys College, Sharon Plaza, Anon Plaza, Cedar Crest Hospital, MKK Plaza, Durumi 3 Shell Estate, A.A. Shafa Filling Station, Amina Court, NPI Estate, and environs.
The AEDC apologized for any inconvenience the power interruption may cause, but assured customers that the maintenance exercise is necessary to ensure improved power supply to these areas.
Customers are advised to take precautions to protect their electrical appliances and equipment during a power interruption. They should also turn off all electrical appliances and equipment before the scheduled maintenance period and only switch them back on after power has been fully restored.
The AEDC has also urged its customers to report any faults or emergencies during the maintenance period to its customer care helpline.
