As of the latest results, Obi has garnered 449,088 votes while Tinubu has so far polled 416,431 votes, leaving a gap between the two candidates. However, the results indicate that Tinubu won in 10 local governments, while the People's Democratic Party (PDP) clinched seven of the 17 LGAs.
The local governments won by Tinubu include Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, and Surulere. Meanwhile, Obi emerged victorious in Eti-Osa, Amuwo Odofin, Ikeja, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, and Somolu.
The results for Alimosho, Ojo, and Mushin are still being awaited. It's worth noting that the Mushin LG's result was initially announced by the Collation Officer, but it was later disputed due to some discrepancies in the figures.
As the collation process continues, Nigerians are eagerly anticipating the final results of the presidential election in Lagos. The election is considered crucial, as Lagos is the most populous state in Nigeria and a major economic hub.
