Arsonists Attack APC Candidate's Home in Rivers

Hon. Charles Anyanwu, the All Progressives Congress candidate for Etche Constituency in Rivers State, narrowly escaped death as his residence in Port Harcourt was attacked by arsonists. 

This comes a few days after he survived a shooting incident during a campaign rally in Etche.

Sources close to the candidate reported that the arsonists entered Anyanwu's residence and used an improvised explosive, suspected to be dynamite, causing extensive damage to his property. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The Rivers State Police Command has commenced investigations into the matter, according to SP Grace Iringe Koko, the Command's Public Relations Officer.
