2023 Election: Ukodhiko of PDP wins Isoko Federal Constituency

Jonathan Ukodhiko, a former Commissioner for Energy in Delta, has emerged victorious in the National Assembly elections held in Delta State, Nigeria. Ukodhiko, who contested under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was declared the winner of the Isoko Federal Constituency. The Returning Officer, Prof. Arnold Ojugo, of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, announced the results in Oleh on Tuesday.

According to the Returning Officer, Ukodhiko polled a total of 23,487 votes to defeat his closest rival, Hon. Dickson Ebegbare of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), scored 21,416 votes. The election, which was held on Saturday, was reportedly peaceful and witnessed a high turnout of voters.

Ukodhiko's victory has been celebrated by his supporters and the PDP, who have congratulated him on his success. The election results have also been accepted by other candidates and political parties who participated in the election.

The newly elected representative has promised to work hard and represent the interests of the people of the Isoko Federal Constituency to the best of his ability. He has also expressed gratitude to his supporters and the PDP for their unwavering support and belief in him.
