In Delta's Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, the Labour Party's (LP) candidate, Mr Ngozi Okolie, defeated House Minority Leader Ndudi Elumelu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Elumelu received a total of 33,456 votes, while the LP candidate received a total of 53,879 votes, according to results announced on Monday in Asaba by Prof. Kenneth Ibe, Returning Officer for the Independent National Election Commission.
