The President of Omega Fire Ministries and a well-known Nigerian cleric, Apostle Johnson Suleman, have urged Nigerians to safeguard their voting rights in the general election of 2023.
The counsel was offered by the priest on his official Twitter account, which media reporter Seunmanuel Faleye shared with reporters.
The Apostle also urged Nigerians to exercise their right to vote in the 2023 general elections.
Keeping the election results from being tampered with or altered in any other manner, he claimed, requires preserving the votes.
Suleman advised Nigerians to head to the polls, cast their votes, and then wait for the results to be announced when the votes have been tabulated.
He cautioned them to exercise caution and to document everything that occurs at the polling places with photographs and detailed notes in case there is any fraud.
“This election will be a deciding factor for generations unborn; we have never had it so terrible, especially this past few weeks.
“Go to your polling unit and vote, wait for it to be counted, get it all captured and recorded, let’s see how they can lie to us with figures,” the Apostle wrote on Twitter.
