The coaches of The Voice Nigeria's current fourth season swivelled to the angelic songs in the second episode, which included a number of beautiful vocals.
Mathew Abah, a classical vocalist from Benue State who is 23 years old, is one of these voices. Matthew's passion of music is a result of his upbringing in a social setting. The singer, who also manages the family cement business, selected Andrea Bocceli's "Time To Say Goodbye" for his blind audition. Naeto C, Waje, and Niyola punched the buzzer as soon as he belted out the opening note; their faces were a picture of amazement. Praiz wasn't any less astounded when he didn't turn. His body language revealed that he was entranced by Matthew's baritones when the camera panned to him.
Matthew's performance was greeted with a standing ovation. Naeto C thought he might do better if he joined his squad, even though Waje and Niyola congratulated him for being an exception in the competition thus far. Waje helped Matthew set up his tent, nevertheless. He joined Waje's crew as the second talent for the show after 33-year-old Emmanuel Ogionwo, who sang Asa's "360."
Aderemi Adeniyi's rendition of Johnny Drille's "Papa" was another performance that evening that turned the heads of all four coaches. The 30-year-old singer from Ekiti State was a lucky recruit for Praiz's team.
Aderemi and Temitope Akinola, who sang Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry," were the only two performers on his squad, similar to Waje.
While Niyola possessed Roland Matthew, Naeto C also had two talented individuals in Star Onuogha and Okechukwu Amaka.
