Major General Abdulsalami Bagudu Ibrahim has taken over leadership of the Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) special task force's headquarters in Jos, Plateau State.
He succeeded Major General Ibrahim Ali, who had lately been appointed Theatre Commander of Theatre Command North-East Joint Task Force Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK).
Speaking at the OPSH headquarters during the handing over and taking over the ceremony, Major General Ali stated that the command's men and officers have indicated their willingness to work with the incoming commander to accomplish the organization's goals and objectives, particularly in maintaining its kinetic and non-kinetic approaches to achieving lasting peace.
Major General Abdulsalami Bagudu Ibrahim, the incoming commander of OPSH, declared in his speech that the accomplishments made by the outgoing commander would be maintained and enhanced.
Major General Ibrahim reminded personnel of the necessity to maintain discipline and consistently preach peace for the growth of society and asked men, officers, and pertinent stakeholders in the corridor of peace to unify against crimes inside the joint operating area of the command.
