Imo stakeholders endorse Hope Uzodinma for second tenure

A voice vote from the audience at the 7th annual Imo Stakeholders Meeting supported Governor Hope Uzodinma's bid for reelection as governor of Imo State in 2023.

Politicians, academics, religious leaders, business executives, local elders, and market vendors all participated in the 7th Stakeholders meeting, which was held at Ndubuisi Kanu Square in Owerri, Imo State.

The adoption was sponsored by Chief Henry Njoku of the Owerri zone, who cited the quantifiable advancements made by Governor Uzodinma's administration in the direction of a more equal division of the state's riches.

The motion was then seconded by Hon. Barr Ifeanyi Agwu, a former lawmaker representing Ehime Mbano, and adopted by voice vote.

Senator Hope Uzodinma gave a tour of the Shared Prosperity administration's three-year achievements for the people of Ndi Imo during his speech.

Stakeholder reactions were mostly supportive of the governor's work so far.

Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, a stakeholder and statesman present, praised the governor and expressed his admiration for the governor's leadership skills.

According to the speaker, the governor has shown strong leadership and responsibility through his explanation of the Shared Prosperity administration's accomplishments, intentions, and proactive actions to maintain peace in Imo State.

Regardless of their political or religious affiliations, Imo State people were advised to refrain from politicising the state by Chief Pascal Dozie CON, who served as the meeting's moderator.
