Ifedayo Olarinde, commonly known as Daddy Freeze, is a well-known broadcaster and socialite who is both Nigerian and Romanian. He has stated that it is not a blessing to provide money to wealthy parents.
The founder of Free Nation Online Church argues that despite the fact that his mother is a university vice-chancellor, he has never given her money since "there's no blessing attached to it."
On Instagram, Daddy Freeze urged his followers to assist the poor rather than their parents because the only time parents can be blessed for assisting their children is when they are in need.
“There is no blessing in giving your rich parents money. The blessing is when you give to the poor. If your parents are struggling, then you are blessed when you give them money or assist them. ‘Honor your father & mother’ should not be monetized,” he said.
Daddy Freeze’s fans have pressured him to help support his wealthy mom, but he’s pointed out that she doesn’t need his help and has already amassed plenty of assets. He also said that his mom once sent back money that a politician’s aide dropped off for her.
