Mathias Pogba, Paul Pogba's brother, has been freed from jail.
After the authorities granted his plea for bail, the defendant's solicitor, Yassine Bouzrou, confirmed to BFMTV that his client had left Maison d'arret de Villepinte on Friday.
After being accused of the suspected extortion of the Juventus and France player, Mathias was imprisoned for three months.
Allegations that Paul was the victim of an extortion attempt by his brother and boyhood pals seeking a sum of €13 million led to the opening of an inquiry in August.
In a video shared on social media, Mathias, who had been denied bail 12 days after his first conviction, vowed to release "explosive information."
The 32-year-old denied participating in attempts to blackmail his brother.
According to BFMTV, Mathias was placed under judicial monitoring and could not be in touch with Paul, his mother, or anybody else connected to the case.
