Christians have prayed for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress's presidential candidate in the general elections of 2023.
They prayed during the 2022 Christmas Carol on Wednesday at the Christ the Light Chapel in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
The state branch of "Project Beyond Lagos" put on the event with the slogan "A Gift that Impacts Through Culture of Generosity and Great Vision."
In a sequence of prayers and supplications, they offered Tinubu to God, pleading with him to provide him the mental clarity necessary to continue the campaign.

Lagos residents know how to rejoice, according to Hon. Anofiu Olarewaju-Elegushi, the event's chief host and commissioner for home affairs for Lagos State.
Olarewaju-Elegushi asked on people to keep praying for the victory of the governing party's candidates at all levels and characterised the Christmas season as a joyous one.
He said: “It is a period of felicitation with one another.
“It is expected that we extend hands of generosity and care to others.
“In the forthcoming elections, we as party has sellable candidates who can better the lot of Nigerians.
“As a party, we are calling on all of us to make an intentional effort at ensuring that APC’s candidates come victorious.”
In his remark, the Presiding Chaplin of the church, Venerable Ezekiel Oluwadare, said Christians are behind Tinubu.
Oluwadare said that the faithful will continue to pray for the election of Tinubu and all APC candidates.
The preacher said that with the contributions Tinubu had made in churches across the country, it will be bad for Christians to abandon him now.
He prayed for peace in the country to enable people do their businesses.
