Two alleged cult members were detained by the police in Lagos State, and firearms were found on them.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the command's verified Twitter account owner, confirmed the arrest on Tuesday.
He claimed that the arrest came as a result of community members calling the Ajah Police Division in distress.
“Officers responded swiftly to a distress call from Sangotedo that cultists were on rampage.
“Two were arrested with locally made firearms”, he stated, adding that the suspects were assisting the police in the ongoing investigation.
