Due to COVID-19 restrictions at a Chinese manufacturing facility, Apple has informed consumers to expect delays in iPhone shipments.
The main site for assembling the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is momentarily impacted by operating constraints at Apple manufacturing partner Foxconn's iPhone plant in Zhengzhou, China.
According to recent reports, employees at the Chinese factory that assembles iPhones fled the premises after a sudden increase in COVID-19 cases triggered a complete lockdown at the facility.
At its Zhengzhou complex, Foxconn, an Apple supplier with numerous employees, has not disclosed an official estimate of how many people there have COVID-19 infection.
Apple stated that it is working closely with the supplier to return to normal production levels while ensuring the health and safety of every worker.
