President Muhammadu Buhari has denounced the cruel assassination of Eze Ignitus Asor, the traditional leader of the Obudi-Agwa community in Imo State's Oguta Local Government Area, as well as other victims.
Garba Shehu, the president's spokeswoman, revealed this in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the president ordered the state's security organisations to look into the nefarious act in great detail and make sure that those responsible face the full force of the law.
The president prays for the injured people's quick recovery while expressing sympathy to family, friends, the Obudi-Agwa community, as well as everyone else affected by the attacks.
President Buhari applauds the Imo State Government's tenacious efforts to improve the security situation and exhorts all Imo residents and citizens to vehemently support the combined efforts of state actors and local residents to keep everyone safe.
