Minister of Labour and Employment, (Watch Video Here) Dr. Chris Ngige has expressed his opinion concerning the upcoming 2023 presidential election during an interview on Channels TV programme. On the question of who would he cast his vote for between his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, (Watch Video Here) Senator Bola Tinubu, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party(LP), who happens to be his successor as Anambra state Governor, Ngige responded by saying that his choice would be his one vote in the ballot box. Why doing a comparative analysis between Tinubu and Obi, (Watch Video Here) Ngige said, before Tinubu took over as governor, Lagos was scattered and he was able to reform the financial systems and set out a roadmap of development for his successors to follow. In the case of Obi, (Watch Video Here) Ngige said he was proud that he (Obi) built on the foundation he laid in Anambra state. Ngige however added that both of them do disagree on infrastructural development. (Watch Video Here)
Recall in 2006, Ngige was sacked as Governor of Anambra state by the Court of Appeal and Obi was declared the duly winner of the 2003 Anambra governorship election. (Watch Video Here)
