Due to a hamstring injury, Ola Aina, a defender with the Super Eagles, will be sidelined until January 2023.
Aina has performed admirably for Torino this season, appearing in ten Serie A games. The Nigerian fullback scored in the Bulls' 2-1 victory over Udinese over the weekend.
Unfortunately, Aina will have to take time off work after suffering an accident while training. The 26-year-old sustained a hamstring injury, which will keep him out of action for the remainder of the year, according to Tuttosport as reported by Milan News.
He will miss every game for Torino up until the World Cup due to the injury. The matches against Bologna, Roma, Sampdoria, and AC Milan would constitute Aina's absence.
However, Aina should be back and fully fit by January, as hamstring injuries typically take 4-6 weeks to heal. The Chelsea Academy product should be available for selection when Torino takes on Verona in their first game of 2023.
