The weekly virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council was preceded by
the swearing-in ceremony, which was held in the Council Chambers at the State
House in Abuja (FEC).
Other Supreme Court justices, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Ministers, and
other cabinet officials all attended the occasion, along with Governors Seyi
Makinde of Oyo State and Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State.
Following Justice Tanko Muhammad's resignation due to illness on June 27,
2022, Justice Ariwoola was named acting chief justice of Nigeria.
