According to a coroner's report, Mahsa Amini died from multiple organ failure brought on by cerebral hypoxia rather than from blows to the head or body, the official news agency IRNA reported on Friday.
More than two weeks of widespread demonstrations have been sparked by the death of Amini, 22, while she was in the morality police's custody in Iran. Her father claimed she had bruises on her legs and blamed the cops for her passing.
Her death was "not caused by hit to the head and limbs," according to the coroner's report. It didn't specify whether she had been hurt. According to the investigation, she fell while being held because to "underlying diseases".
“Due to the ineffective cardio-respiratory resuscitation in the first critical minutes, she suffered severe hypoxia and as a result brain damage.”
