Plateau bye-election: Tribunal sacks PDP Reps member

 

On Friday, the National and States Assembly Election Petition Trial Tribunal, which was in session at High Court 4, Jos, declared that Hon. Musa Avia Agah of the Peoples Democratic Party was not duly elected (PDP).

According to the Court, Hon. Agah was not legitimately nominated by the PDP for the byelection held on February 26, 2022.

The Court ruled that Agah did not win the election with the most legitimate votes.
