The Catholic Bishop of the Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Kukah, received congratulations from President Muhammadu Buhari on his 70th birthday and was praised for his contributions to the national conversation.
On Wednesday, Bishop Kukah, a critic of the present administration, turned 70.
In a statement of congratulations from his spokesperson, Femi Adesina, the President joined the Catholic Church, friends, and colleagues in congratulating the priest on the achievement.
He asked God to extend Bishop Kukah's life and give him strength, health, and longevity.
