Former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey joins Nice
Aaron Ramsey, a former midfielder for Arsenal, has joined Nice, the French team has announced. Ramsey left Juventus, and the two sides decided to end their relationship by terminating the player's contract.

As he prepares to play for his nation in the World Cup later this year, the Wales star will now continue his career at Ligue 1.

In recent weeks, Ramsey had also been connected to a move to MLS in addition to Nice.

Ramsey finally decided against following his countryman Gareth Bale to the MLS despite Charlotte FC apparently making an approach for the midfielder.

After spending a half-season on loan at Rangers, where he helped the Scottish team go to the Europa League final but ultimately lost in a penalty shootout to Eintracht Frankfurt, Ramsey has now joined the club.

Ramsey initially committed to a four-year deal with Juventus in February 2019, and he made his debut in September of the same year.

He never quite managed to duplicate his Arsenal form in Turin, though. Over the course of his three years in Italy, Ramsey made just 70 appearances in total.

He eventually received a loan to Rangers in January and scored twice in 13 games with the Scottish team.
