In an effort to bolster their defence before the start of the new season, Fulham has made bids for Chelsea's Malang Sarr and West Ham's Issa Diop.
However, Chelsea has halted a deal for Sarr until they secure a new center-back of their own, and West Ham is unwilling to lose Diop due to the injury of summer signing Nayef Aguerd.
Marco Silva, the manager of Fulham, has issued a warning to the team, saying they are not prepared for their Saturday match against Liverpool at Craven Cottage.
On Sunday, Silva responded, "No," when asked if his team was ready for the upcoming campaign. They are capable of playing in the Premier League.
“I congratulate them for the work they have been doing. They were fantastic last season and they are working really hard. But we as a squad are not ready.”
For about £8 million, Fulham and Arsenal have agreed to sign goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
The German is anticipated to have a physical at Arsenal this week and has already agreed to personal terms.
Joao Palhinha, Andreas Pereira, and Kevin Mbabu's arrivals this summer have resulted in Fulham making three permanent hires. Manor Solomon has also been hired on loan by them.
