Nigerian comedian Princess has responded to the Ikeja Special Offenses Court's decision condemning Nollywood actor Olarenwaju James, better known by his stage name Baba Ijesha.
On Thursday, Princess said on her Instagram, "God is not a man."
On June 24, 2021, the actor appeared in court. Six prosecution witnesses gave testimony against him during the trial.
They are Wahab Kareem, the investigating police officer, Aniekan Makanjuola, a doctor, Olabisi Ajayi-Kayode, a child expert, comedienne Princess, a 14-year-old juvenile, Abigail Omane, a policewoman, and Wahab Kareem.
In a two-hour judgment, Judge Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Ikeja Special Offenses Court found Baba Ijesha guilty of sexual assault, attempted sexual assault, and indecent treatment of a child.
Princess shared a video of herself singing along to a song of thanksgiving shortly after the judgment.

Six counts of sexual assault, sexual assault by penetration, attempted sexual assault by penetration, and indecent treatment of a child were brought against Baba Ijesha.
The Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions brought the allegations against him (DPP).
The crimes violate the Lagos State Criminal Law 2015's Sections 135, 137, 261, 202, 262, and 263, which mandate life in prison for offenders.
