Three Wimbledon security personnel were detained after a dispute between them was reported on the grounds of the Grand Slam competition.
According to The Guardian, officers from the London Metropolitan Police were obliged to disperse the brawl that had taken place in front of spectators.
Following their arrest, three security guards employed by Wimbledon's security provider, Knights Group Security, were taken into custody.
According to reports, the alleged altercation started after one employee accused another of taking a three-hour break.
One fan reportedly shouted for security to intervene to stop the violence.
The All England Lawn and Tennis Club's grounds were the scene of an altercation at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 1st, according to the Metropolitan Police.
"Officers attended and three males working at the event were arrested on suspicion of affray," a police spokeswoman for the capital stated.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“They were taken into custody and were later bailed until a date in late July.”
