The fast rising Nigerian musician Portable has poked fun at Davido for unfollowing him on Instagram.
In the days prior to Saturday's governorship election in Osun state, the two seemed to be at odds over their disparate interests.
The singer of "OBO" is supporting Ademola Adeleke, his uncle, who is running for office on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), whereas Portable is supporting Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) .
In the state capital of Osogbo on Thursday, the two organized supporters for their respective candidates.
Following Davido's appearance at Oyetola's campaign, reports surfaced a shortly later that Davido had unfollowed Portable.
The singer of "Assurance" is no longer following Portable, according to Prime9jaOnlineMedia's checks, although the crooner of "Zazoo Zeh" is still doing so.
Davido unfollowed Portable, who reacted in a cryptic video on his Instagram page.
"Listen with your ears open. I come from the trenches; my father is not a wealthy man, and I am not a son of a wealthy man, he remarked.
"I am the one who earned my family wealth. Open your ears so I can speak to you. The only reason I am hustling and running in this way is to make money. And to spare my family the pain they experienced, which is not my burden.
"Once more, my dad is not a wealthy man. I was raised in poverty but was able to make my family prosperous. So back those that back you. They unfollowed us right away.
