According to the UK Mirror, Manchester United could sign Ivan Toney this summer.
Toney is also getting interest from Premier League clubs such as Leeds United, Newcastle United, and West Ham United.
Last season, the 26-year-old scored 14 goals and assisted on six others.
Toney spent six months with Christian Eriksen's past season, but the Danish international has signed as a free agent with United.
However, United's decision to increase their interest in signing Toney could be influenced by Cristiano Ronaldo and Anthony Martial's futures.
Ronaldo has already requested a transfer from Manchester United and has not yet report for preseason training with Erik ten Hag.
The 37-year-old is dissatisfied with the club's transfer activity and wishes to play in the Champions League.
Martial was loaned out to Sevilla in January and might still depart the Red Devils before next season.
