Vice President Yemi Osinbajo underwent surgery on Saturday to treat recurrent pain brought on by a leg fracture. The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), sent the VP his best wishes for a quick and complete recovery.
In a statement headlined "President Buhari wishes VP Osinbajo rapid recovery, after surgical surgery," which was signed late on Saturday by his special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, is Buhari's well-wishes for Osinbajo.
The President praises God for a successful operation and asks for a "speedy and complete recovery," thanking the medical staff at the Duchess International Hospital in Ikeja, Lagos, for "their expertise and a job well done," according to Adesina.
"President Buhari assures Vice President Osinbajo of Nigerians' and his family's prayers."
He is anticipated to be discharged within the following few days, the management of the Duchess International Hospital stated earlier after the treatment was declared successful.
